Stand for Health Freedom Endorses Stewart Jones for South Carolina House Representative – District 14
“I started fighting for medical freedom over two years ago when the government told people they couldn’t use medicine that wasn’t approved by the federal government. Some have been fighting for medical freedom for decades in our state.”
In April of 2020, Stewart led the charge to re-open South Carolina, lift restrictions, and fight against mask and vaccine mandates. Along with a coalition of business owners and other legislators, Stewart took 60,000 petitions to the governor’s office to get the General Assembly back into session and re-open SC. A proud eighth-generation South Carolinian, Jones has managed several technology companies. He was elected Laurens County Councilmember in 2014 and sworn in as SC State Representative in 2019.
In late April, a bill introduced by Jones was signed into law by the governor. “This bill has a number of very important components that help preserve our freedoms by ensuring no South Carolinian is forced to take a vaccine against their will or provide proof of vaccine,” said Jones.
Stand for Health Freedom supports candidates who make and protect policy to support individual and family choice in matters of health and bodily autonomy. We believe Stewart Jones will defend and expand these rights for South Carolina residents.
