Stand for Health Freedom Endorses Heidi Ganahl for Colorado Governor

“Our freedom to decide how to best take care of ourselves, our health, and our children’s health, has been stolen by bureaucrats who think they know better than us,” said Colorado gubernatorial candidate Heidi Ganahl. “As governor, the only thing I will mandate is freedom!”

Ganahl is best known as the founder of Camp Bow Wow, where she turned a lifelong passion for dogs into the largest pet care franchise in the world. Under her leadership, the $150-million-dollar brand hit the Inc. 500/5000 list five years in a row and has grown to hundreds of franchises across the U.S. and Canada. She also founded its sister charity, the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation, which during her tenure rehomed over 10,000 pups and helped franchisees raise over a million dollars for animal health causes.

Named one of Fortune magazine’s 10 Most Promising Entrepreneurs, Ganahl is also passionate about giving back. In 2013, she founded Moms Fight Back, and later the Fight Back Foundation, charities that tackle the most pressing issues facing our kids today. Ganahl was also elected to the University of Colorado Board of Regents, overseeing a $5 billion budget and over 30,000 employees. She and her restauranteur husband have four children, a dog, and two rescue kitties.

“I will fight for our Colorado way of life,” said Ganahl. “I will trust you to make good decisions for yourself, your family, and your business. I wholeheartedly believe in personal responsibility rather than government control and mandates.”
