SCR 22 Makes Indiana Healthy Again
Our Stand: At-A-Glance
- In February 2025, Senator Tyler Johnson authored Senate Concurrent Resolution 22 titled “Supporting a Healthier Indiana”
- The resolution can be considered an Indiana MAHA initiative, officially prioritizing public policy that addresses the “chronic disease epidemic” and seeks to “incentivize better health and provide meaningful results that empower people and communities.”
- According to the press release, “SCR 22 also encourages policies that increase access to health and more affordable food, integrate health and wellness curricula in K-12 Indiana schools and require food served in schools and state facilities to meet high nutritional standards.”
- Stand for Health Freedom hopes to be a stakeholder in these discussions and to help create legislative opportunities for positive impact.
