FLORIDA: Support a bill to classify “vaccines grown in food” as a drug
Our Stand: At-A-Glance
UPDATE! March 20, 2025
- SB196 was heard in the Regulated Industries committee and passed favorably 8-0! We are now on to the Appropriations Committee on Agriculture, Environment, and General Government and need your voice to get the bill heard in the committee.
- Original text of the CTA below –
- SB196, filed by Senator Joe Gruters, would ensure that food that contains a vaccine or vaccine material is classified as a “drug.”
- Big Pharma has been working on modifying plants to produce vaccines for many years, and we are beginning to hear of it coming to a grocery store near you
- Classifying such food products as drugs is crucial for several reasons:
- Informed Consent: Consumers have a right to know if a food product contains vaccine components, allowing them to make informed decisions about what they consume.
- Health Risks: Vaccine-laced foods could pose significant dangers, including unknown allergic reactions, unintended health effects, or long-term consequences that have yet to be studied.
- Tennessee passed legislation like this last year, and we are excited to see this filed in our state.
- Please email the Appropriations Committee on Agriculture, Environment, and General Government, asking them to place the bill on the agenda for passage!
