- The last several years have made it clear that international organizations have the capacity to influence policy in the United States and Louisiana despite the lack of any official or legal policy adoption process. The covid pandemic is the perfect example of entities like the World Health Organization significantly influencing public health policy despite the lack of fiduciary accountability to the American public.
- Additionally, dark money and foreign interests heavily influence international organizations whose policies can be weaponized against the people and interests of the United States and the state of Louisiana.
- SB133 by Senator Thomas Pressly takes the proper step of addressing these concerning issues by expressly stating that these agencies, the World Health Organization, the United Nations, and the World Economic Forum, have no authority in the state of Louisiana.
