Massachusetts! S.1618 is a backdoor attack on your medical and parental rights
Our Stand: At-A-Glance
-
Massachusetts Senate Bill S.1618 is an alarming overreach of government authority that must be stopped. Under the guise of public health, this bill would undermine parental rights, compromise medical privacy, and create discriminatory barriers to education.
If passed, S.1618 would:
-
Allow minors to be vaccinated without parental consent or knowledge, regardless of age.
-
Force parents to apply for exemptions annually through a state-controlled system, putting government in charge of private family decisions.
-
Require physicians to approve religious exemptions, inserting doctors into decisions that are not medical in nature.
-
Limit the scope of medical exemptions and give the Department of Public Health unchecked power to alter vaccine requirements without oversight.
-
Label schools and programs with higher exemption rates as “Elevated Risk,” leading to privacy violations, stigma, and discrimination.
This bill does not promote true health. It imposes fear, coercion, and division—while granting sweeping authority to the state over decisions that belong to families and their trusted doctors. Take a stand for freedom, dignity, and informed consent. Tell your House Rep, Senator and the Joint Committee on Public Health to vote NO on S.1618.
