Our Stand: At-A-Glance
UPDATED Mach 30, 2025
A call-to-action in collaboration with our friends at Health Freedom Idaho
- This historic bill has now passed both the house and the senate, but unfortunately was vetoed by the Governor at the 11th hour. We are asking you to reach out to your legislators and ask them to override the veto, there is appetite for this to happen, we need your support!
- S 1023, the Idaho Medical Freedom Act, is a critical piece of legislation designed to protect Idahoans from medical mandates that infringe on personal choice. This bill ensures that no individual is forced to receive a medical intervention—such as a vaccines, masking, testing—as a condition for employment, education, or public access.
- Some of the key provisions of SB 1023 are as follows:
- Expands protections beyond COVID-19: previously, Idaho’s Coronavirus Stop Act limited protections to COVID-related mandates. SB 1023 broadens these protections to cover all medical interventions from vaccine mandates to masking and testing, etc., ensuring long-term medical freedom.
- Protects against employment discrimination: employers, entertainment venues, and other businesses that may not require employees or patrons to receive a medical interventions such as a vaccine or wear a mask to earn a living or engage in normal life.
- Preserves access to education & public services: schools and government institutions cannot deny access based on vaccination status. This prevents medical mandates from being used to exclude individuals from participating in public life.
- Strengthens individual choice & bodily autonomy: Idahoans have the right to make their own medical decisions without coercion or discrimination. SB 1023 reinforces the principle that health choices should remain a personal decision, not a government requirement.
- Now is the time to act! Contact Governor Little and urge him to SIGN THE BILL. Let’s protect medical freedom in Idaho—today and for future generations.
