Georgia: the Medical Freedom Act must get hearing before it dies
Our Stand: At-A-Glance
- HB 897 – a medical freedom act bill, would restore the freedom of Georgians to make their own health decisions. Unfortunately, this bill is stuck in the Public Health Committee and if it does not get a hearing before THIS Wednesday, it will die.
- This call to action involves two steps
- Use the form to email your House representative and ask that they support medical freedom by asking Representative Sharon Cooper to put HB 897 on the agenda for an immediate vote in the Public Health Committee; and
- Click the link below and call some of the Public Health Committee members and ask them to give this bill a hearing. Click here to contact committee members.
- If you can make only one call today, make the call to the Committee Chair, Sharon Cooper’s Office at (404) 656-5069 to demand a hearing before Crossover Day, Wednesday, February 28th. Call script: HB 897 prohibits vaccine status discrimination. This bill is very important to me. Please put this medical freedom bill on the Public Health Committee Agenda for a vote.
