Florida Healthcare Denial Survey
Our Stand: At-A-Glance
-
SB 1270 / HB 1299 was heard in committee on April 21st. During the hearing, a key legislator stated he didn’t believe “denial of care” was actually happening—and asked the room to provide names and clinics where people have been denied care.
-
We are collecting stories from Floridians—especially parents—who have been denied medical care due to personal health decisions. In particular we are looking for stories about children being denied care in pediatric offices. These stories will be shared with policymakers as part of our effort to pass SB1270/ HB1299. By completing this survey, you acknowledge that your information may be shared with legislators and decision-makers to help advance health freedom in Florida.
-
Please note: You are welcome to complete this survey anonymously. However, for this process to work as powerfully as it can, legislators need to know that there are real people behind these real stories. Your name and contact information add credibility and impact when we present your experience to those in positions of power.
