NEVADA! NO to AB20 – Medical Diagnosis Info on Drivers Licenses
Our Stand: At-A-Glance
- AB20 seeks to include symbols on state issued drivers licenses and IDs indicating individual medical diagnoses. This includes storage of your private health information in the DMV database.
- While this bill allows this as an opt in, it’s not hard to imagine, once established it could very easily be required in the future.
- AB20 violates medical privacy
- AB20 is unnecessary and burdensome
What can you do to tell the legislators to protect the rights and privacy of Nevadans?
