Action Alert New Jersey: Munoz is not suitable for a GOP leadership role

Our Stand: At-A-Glance

  • Please note that in order to take action in this campaign your Assembly representative must be Republican.
  • New Jersey deserves strong, unwavering leadership in Trenton– lawmakers who are not afraid to be firm in their convictions and represent their constituency on issues of utmost importance.  As we speak, Republican legislators are debating who they want to see as their leader in the Assembly and are set to take a vote as soon as November 4th.
  • It has come to our attention that Assemblywoman Nancy Foster Munoz, RN, (Nancy F. Munoz (R) (state.nj.us), is favored to take on the role as Assembly Minority Leader.  This is bad news for the thousands of families across the state who value their right to decide what is or is not injected into their child’s body.

  • As you may recall, Assemblywoman Munoz is the only Republican member of the assembly who voted “yes” with Democrats to remove the Religious exemption for NJ children in December of 2019.  Munoz has stated that she is NOT for choice when it comes to mandated shots and her voting record is evidence of that.  Munoz should NOT be elevated to any leadership position in the GOP party because her views consistently do not align with the values of the GOP party.
  • The Assembly Minority Leader is charged with engaging, negotiating, and bargaining with Democrat Majority leaders on bills that affect all New Jersey residents.  Assemblywoman Munoz does not support religious freedom, health freedom, or parental rights.
  • Join us in asking the Republican members of the NJ State Assembly to support and vote for the best candidate for Minority Leader.  Residents of New Jersey want change in Trenton and that will only happen with strong, outspoken leadership who will stand up and defend their rights…not remove them.
