Our Stand: At-A-Glance
- Our partner, Informed Choice Iowa is focusing on five priority bills still in play, these last few weeks of session and we need your voice!
- This call-to-action is for the remaining bills on the House side!
- ACTION: Through this action form, you can email the entire Iowa House and urge them to bring these bills to a floor vote this week. Please remember, we highly encourage customization for each action, this creates better results from your Iowa legislators.
- HF384 – Parental Consent for STD Vaccines
Closes a loophole that allows minors to consent to STD vaccines without parental knowledge. This bill protects parental rights and ensures parents can monitor for adverse effects.
- SF180 – Right to Refuse EUA Products
Protects Iowans’ right to decline experimental products or services authorized under Emergency Use. This does not restrict public health communication but ensures informed consent and freedom of choice.
- HF1017 – Sovereignty from Foreign Organizations
Prevents foreign entities—like the WHO or UN—from exerting control over Iowans through laws, fees, or mandates. Five states have already passed similar legislation. With the WHO’s pandemic treaty nearing finalization, now is the time to act.
