CALLING FOR RESIGNATION OF TN MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Send this OPEN LETTER to your state legislators and Governor Bill Lee.
Our Stand: At-A-Glance
UPDATE October 29, 2024
TIMELINE
- September 30: Dr. Caitlin Newhouse, Medical Director, Vaccine-Preventable Diseases & Immunization Program, Tennessee Department of Health (TDH), emailed a “Dear Colleague” Letter to all healthcare providers in the state, recommending the co-administration of COVID-19, flu, and RSV vaccines/injections–along with any other vaccine a person may be eligible for–to targeted age groups, including babies as young as six months old and pregnant women. Dr. Newhouse failed to provide any evidence for the safety of her recommendation.
- October 14: Bernadette Pajer, Tennessee Director of Stand for Health Freedom, sent an OPEN LETTER to Dr. Caitlin Newhouse, requesting she support and defend her recommendation by providing key safety information to healthcare providers, and the public, in order for Tennesseans to be able to trust the healthcare providers who follow her advice.
- SHF launched a campaign and members took action, sending the OPEN LETTER to their legislators and Governor Lee. Several legislators contacted Dr. Newhouse, saying they were interested in her response.
- October 23: Dr. Newhouse sent a response to the OPEN LETTER. She did not provide any of the requested information. She simply provided links to the CDC and HHS, thereby avoiding admitting the lack of clinical trials and the unprecedented volumes of vaccine injuries and deaths.
- October 29: Bernadette sent a SECOND OPEN LETTER to Dr. Newhouse, highlighting the doctor’s conflicts of interests, lack of respect for the informed consent rights of the people she is employed to serve, and calling for her resignation.
- Since Dr. Newhouse failed to provide information on co-administration, we are providing it here.
- SHF launched the current campaign, supporting the call for Dr. Newhouse to resign. Please contact your state legislators and Governor Lee and let them know that as a citizen and taxpayer, you are opposed to Dr. Newhouse being the state’s Medical Director of the Vaccine-Preventable Diseases & Immunization Program. Her continued promotions of COVID shots, her close alliance with the vaccine industry through her active membership with Association of Immunization Managers (AIM), and her refusal to provide requested information to support her vaccination recommendations, hindering the right to informed consent, makes her unsuitable for the position.
