For many the idea of “School Choice” means parents having the power and money to choose whatever school, whether public, charter, private, or even home school, that their children will attend to be educated. And, this idea of “School Choice” sounds great, giving parents a sense of freedom and empowerment. But, what the Missouri legislature is actually doing is trying to pass something very different from that idea of “School Choice”.
Missouri State Senator Andrew Koenig’s bill SB727 isn’t really about “trusting parents” and giving them the opportunity and financial means to choose from a free market choices of schools to send their children to learn. No, SB727 is about placing state government regulations and testing requirements on ALL the “choices” for schooling made available through the government’s “School Choice” program and then having parents choose from those state-approved “choices”.
Stand for Health Freedoms’ Missouri State Director James Holderman put a portion of SB727 committee hearing on X (formerly Twitter) where Senator Koenig and Senator Razer are discussing the initial types of government oversight/regulation which will be placed on private schools and home schools which take the so-called “School Choice” money.
One of the main reasons public schools are failing to truly educate the children of Missouri is because of the rules and regulations, both state and Federal, being imposed on public schools by Missouri’s Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (aka DESE) which distract from foundational educational instruction, such as reading, writing, and mathematics. In fact, most private schools excel because there is no bureaucratic red tape and outside agendas which often hinder the real education processes for children.
Additionally, please also note that the government-regulated version of “School Choice” is being encouraged by the United Nations and none other than vaccine-pushing billionaire Bill Gates as a means to force “all learners” into a curriculum which advances and promotes “global citizenship” and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
Stand for Health Freedom intends to publish a detailed article on the globalists’ version of “School Choice” soon. But, for now, we contend that the version of “School Choice” being advanced in Senator Koenig’s SB727 paves the way for everything the United Nations and Bill Gates are trying to achieve including control of school curriculum and, also, Digital IDs as outline in SHF’s August 2023 article: “They’re constructing the perfect beast: Who is able to make war with him?”. In essence, Senator Koenig’s SB727 is paying parents to bring government regulation into private schools and, even, home schools which accept the government-regulated “School Choice” money. Given the type of incrementalism taking place in other states, all home schoolers are likely to be impacted at some point down the road.
