LOUISIANA: Ask your local legislators to be VETO override ready
Our Stand: At-A-Glance
- Louisiana advocates, session is over as of 6pm last night, and you did an amazing job moving, passing and killing bills. Here are some of the bills that passed we supported:
- PASSED! HB182 - No COVID vaccine coercion in schools
- PASSED! HB291 - No Patient Left Alone Act
- PASSED! HB399 - Schools must provide vaccine exemption information
- PASSED! HB415 - NO CBDC in Louisiana
- Governor John Bel Edwards has a history of vetoing health freedom related legislation, having vetoed SIX of our bills over the last two years! Yesterday, he stated that he will veto HB648, so it is very likely that he will veto HB182, HB291, HB399, and HB415 too. (For more information on this year's session, please go here!)
- We need our legislators to be ready to go back to Baton Rouge for a possible veto session. Please ask your legislators to be ready and prepared to stand for these important bills once more.
