West Virginia: Keep up the action! Sign petition, make phone calls, and send emails!
Our Stand: At-A-Glance
- Keep up the action on HB5105, as the opposition is coming out in droves! Please sign the petition here and then email and call the governor today!
- HB5105 (No mandates for virtual public, private, and parochial school students) has passed the Senate and the House and has now gone to the governor.
- Governor Justice has three choices. He can sign the bill, he can veto the bill, or he can do nothing, in which case the bill automatically becomes law after 10 business days.
- After you send an email, please make a call in support of signing this bill: Phone: (304) 558.2000
- Example phone script: “Hi, this is [insert name] from [insert County]. I am calling to ask Governor Justice to sign HB5105 into law! Thank you!” (If no one answers, you can leave a message on the voicemail.)
- Please flood their phones with support for this bill! The opposition is coming out in full force! Don’t stop until we get this bill passed into law. And please share this email with others who will support this bill and take action as well!
