Attention Louisiana: Withdraw the Recommendation for Covid Shots for Infants and Children

- The Louisiana Department of Health’s (LDH) marketing material and messaging for covid shots for infants and children is nothing short of wishful thinking. Health Freedom Louisiana addressed many of the falsehoods in this letter we recently sent to all members of the Louisiana Legislature. Parents deserve the truth and, more importantly, LDH is legally required to provide them with informed consent, as stipulated in 21 U.S. Code §360bbb–3. Section e(1)(A)(ii)(II) which states vaccine recipients be made aware of “significant known and potential benefits and risks of such use, and of the extent to which such benefits and risks are unknown.”
- After looking at the data, Florida Surgeon General Dr Joseph Ladapo decided to recommend against covid vaccination for healthy children long before the shots became available for the younger age groups. It is time parents in Louisiana are fully informed of the risk benefit profile of these experimental drugs versus the virus for their children, which calls for the recommendation of covid vaccination to be withdrawn by LDH.
